Senior Emergency Funds
If you are 60 or older and an Illinois resident facing sudden financial hardship, assistance may be available.
Overview
Adults 60 and older living in Illinois and facing expenses they can’t manage on fixed incomes may qualify to receive emergency financial assistance. Up to $2,500 is available to assist with unexpected expenses, so you can continue to live independently and with dignity in your community.
To qualify, seniors must already receive services from Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
